There seems to be a trend among software products to force a tutorial guiding the user of the product's UI for the first time. The user is unable to interact with the software until they complete the tutorial.

If your UI requires a tutorial, then your UI is broken.

Despite the many interfacing options out there these days, bad UI design is sadly, still prevalent.
