I'd say it's time to stop using Google (or any centralized search) and use something like Yacy instead. As long as there is a central (or several central in the case of searx, and the like) search authority, our web searches and thus our view of the world will be subject to tampering.

The ability to search the Internet in an unbiased, un-obstructed way is something that needs a lot more energy going into it.

And While I sympathize with some of the people wanting to be forgotten The current set up favours the well resourced and thus those that should probably NOT be forgotten. When I search Union Carbide or Dow Chemical the Distaster in Bhopal should show up.

Again, I certainly do not feel that everyone who has a realllllly bad mental health day should be forced to carry that for the rest of their lives.. But people that acted with malice, forethought and intent should not get off so easily, Especially so if they are/where heavily resourced. (in which case the system already favours them by a large margin).
