Giving up on PyBitmessage

Freemor at

Because:

None of my regular contacts ever picked it up

All the groups/channels are just dreck collectors

It's way heavy on bandwidth and processor (which I'm mind a lot less if there was useful data)

It just doesn'tr seem to be going anyplace.

Too bad. :(

Douglas Perkins likes this.

Sorry about your disappointment.  Do you feel you learned from your work on it, at least?

I believe Freemor was just another Bitmessage user, like me.

yup, gave up for same reasons. I had high hopes for it. But it should have been fast, light, and async.

@Sarah Elkins

lnxwalt was corrrect.. it was about Bitmessage.

sadly nothing new was learned... same bunch of yahoos that made usenet unsavoury back in the day. (re: dreck)

...and same lack of concern/effort/interest in protecting their privacy (re: regular contacts) as I see when I suggest any other Secure/Private things.
