Data retention killed by EU Court of Justice

From their press release:

The Court of Justice declares the Data Retention Directive to be invalid.

It entails a wide-ranging and particularly serious interference with the fundamental rights to respect for private life and to the protection of personal data, without that interference being limited to what is strictly necessary"

Oh, I didn't think of that. Sure, older versions of Pumpa or Dianara didn't have that, and the mswindows build you have is probably old.

There is a mswindows build of Dianara, here, made by a fellow pumper. Some people have tried it and seems to work ok, though some other people couldn't go past the authentication step. It seems a problem with SSL. I believe they were identi.ca users, so it might be an issue with that specific server's certificate. It worked for some others though... it might depend on the version of mswindows used.
