Pump it up!!

JanKusanagi @identi.ca at

You will probably not see any indication of this, but this post includes an audio file. A short piece from "Pump it up", by Danzel, quite appropriate for Pump.io!

Yep, Dianara has now basic (in progress) audio upload support =)

EDIT: Sorry Evan, I deleted that other audio because this one was better for the occasion :p

So, I really think the smart way to do this is to do a "post" of an "audio" with the description as "content" or "summary". Much more interesting!
But that's exactly what it is!

Oh, this is great! Awesome. That's just how to do it.

Sorry, I didn't examine the activity itself, just the description, and I jumped to the conclusion that it was the way I didn't want to do it.

There's a mechanism in ActivityStreams to add an array of attachments to an object . I think in most cases if you're sending some audio call it "audio", not "note with an audio attachment".

Ah, yes, this is a "objectType=audio", not a note, but I still call it "a post", because calling it "an audio" seems a little weird, and also, anything "posted", is a post, right? :p
