What's that about? xD

“Most of these people will not be developers.”

In case it wasn't clear from the context of my comment, I talk about people who can do something about said progress.

“Besides the problem that I do not speak any of the languages in which pump.io is created, I'm using all of my time in making Friendica better.”

Nobody is saying you should spend your time here or anywhere else. I'm just saying that many people speak about "lack of progress", yet they do nothing to help, and they could. I never mentioned you, or anyone specific, for that regard, in my comment.

The languages part is irrelevant. You could build a webservice or a mobile app that talked to Pump.io servers in PHP, Ruby, Python, or whatever the latest hip language is. It's irrelevant.

The Pump.io _core_ is made in node.js. The desktop client I develop is C++. The Android clients are Java. There are web services made in PHP, and command line utilities coded in Python. As I said, languages and frameworks are irrelevant here.
