Joey's pages have CSS. See view-source:https://joeyh.name/style.css for example. I believe Joey shares with me the conviction that neither of us can design "pretty" (and readable etc) web pages, and wants to make it clear that this is so.

I know I have received a fair bit of negative feedback of my own pages, or ikiwiki's default themes, but there's precious little in terms of a holistic design that someone else makes and maintains. Plenty of small tweaks, which when applied turn out to generate even more negative feedback.

For example, some people get really upset by max-width. Others get really upset about a lack of max-width. Can't win.

Going back on topic instead of aesthetics, this seems like a neat project. Duly "liked."

Interesting idea. My initial response is that as a developer this sounds like a useful tool, but as a user I would be uncomfortable unless I personally knew and trusted the developer (regardless of gpg). Of course, my discomfort would depend on the nature of the system I was granting the developer access to.

Thinking on it some more, as a user, I think I could overcome my discomfort by understanding how the tool provides a record of everything done. If the recording for the user could be made automatic, perhaps that would help as well.
