IRC QOTD, from #libreboot: "The SMM vulernerability can be patched in coreboot (and then libreboot) if it exists. Otherwise it's not vulnerable. It's ironic that people are worrying about exploits for older CPUs, because the newer Intel systems have a giant backdoor in them called the Management Engine."
