Unless I'm missing some key piece of information, there are people standing outside election offices right now, loudly protesting the counting of ballots legitimately cast in an election in a democracy.
In general I try to understand & empathize with those I disagree with. I may need to make an exception here, though.

they fall for the tale of fraud, because their perception (from their filter bubble) is that everyone around is aligned with them, so whatever deviates from that must be fraud!
