I need a word like "recent" but for the near future instead of the near past. You know, like "Our florbnazz research partner Jocelyn should have access to the spreadsheet". It's not quite the same as "upcoming"... does English even have the word I'm looking for?

I'm guessing not, given how often one sees the construction "soon-to-be", which we obviously wouldn't use if we had a real word for this.
