I never created a new article in English Wikipedia, but yes in the Spanish one, translating content from the English one.

Maybe we can create together a more complete article proposal in the pump.io wiki, and when it's more or less completed, submit again.

I suggest to have a look at existing pages about free software social networks: elgg, statusnet/GNUSocial, Diaspora, Friendica...
