I want to see more free web applications offer paid, hosted solutions (either themselves or finding partners to do so).
I have no interest in the sysadmin headaches but also don't want to be locked into things like Github. I understand it can be a distraction from running the project, but I hope it can also be a source of income to fund development. (I'm thinking of projects like MediaGoblin and Kallithea, but also stuff which doesn't exist currently, like a free software Gmail alternative).
