@evan Assuming your id counter never ever wraps.
-
@rozzin "machines of loving grace"
-
@jakllsch it's still a ball under a sufficiently strange metric :)
-
@spacehobo HEY GUYS WHY DON'T WE USE A FACTORY BEHIND A FACADE THAT WE ACCESS THROUGH INVERSION OF CONTROL
-
@spacehobo I think I'd rather deal with "This is unpythonic!!111" than "This doesn't use enough patterns!!11"
-
@rozzin (I'm thinking of signals here, mostly, really)
-
@rozzin fine, the bits of posix written before pthreads and threads.
-
@rozzin Because the collision of POSIX and threads is always ugly.
-
@fontana Any tighter bounds on "later"?
-
@evan Which is a shame, as OpenShift Express looks a lot like Heroku, and Heroku is super-nifty-keen (albeit mostly proprietary)
-
@evan They say they're releasing it soon, but it's sure not there yet.
-
-
@spacehobo SHUT. DOWN. EVERYTHING.
-
@mjog Don't forget patent lawsuits.
-
@rozzin People use the word "government" when they want to refer to some sort of faceless entity.
-
@jasonriedy FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT
-
@jasonriedy NO NO NO NO NO.
-
@spacehobo The problem is that in the most common case (zephyr), kerberos ccaches solve it and so no one cares enough.
-
@spacehobo We've been punting on that problem in barnowl for quite a while now.
-
@jasonriedy (That's just the worst one I've written. There's much worse in that project, even if you leave out that it uses perl and XS)
