Does the web interface to identica provide any input information, or is an output interface.

I. Right. I was on mobile and assumed the question had to mean he was not.

Alright, Chalkahlom, I guess you wrote that post on one of the non-web clients. If you log in using the log in link in the upper right corner, you can also post things through the web interface.

(And here in the web interface I can also see you were using AndStatus)

I still don't understand what the original question was, but I'm gonna go ahead and post this nice link here:

And since his account is on identi.ca, these are some notes for people who knew it when it was still StatusNet-based (otherwise they couldn't have an account there now): https://identi.ca/jankusanagi/note/IpfiW7kBQYuXt6H7odMzQQ

Iván Ruvalcaba likes this.

“@jankusanagi@identi.ca logged into identica (earlier) via firefox on the pc. Logs in fine, presented with a nice web interface. Trouble is I can not provide any input via the web interface, not like, not comment, I get an error even when clicking log out. ('An error occurred' is the message on log out). Andstatus works fine. #heyho”

That sounds like a problem with your browser. Maybe Javascript blockers such as NoScript or similar.

Anyway, there are Pump.io applications for the desktop, too. I recommend you take a look at those.

Also, check out the other clients for Android. From what I've seen, AndStatus support if very poor and confusing.
