@diane@pump.ghic.org it depends on the software: if it is a library I wouldn't use it (except maybe for playing around), but for applications something new may be interesting and worth trying, expecially if upstream is responsive to suggestions for things that don't work yet.

Ok, but you should state very clearly that that thing you're releasing is not meant for production and *especially* not try to bribe people into thinking it may be stable somehow...

(Remember GNOME 3.0, KDE Plasma 4.0 and now the current versions of KDE Plasma 5.x?)
