I find it absurd, still, that "Social Justice Warrior" is a pejorative term. Social justice is good, and fighting for it is good. If anything, I self-identify as one. When I hear someone use the term "SJW" I think of this shirt design.

Set your expectations accordingly, I guess.

I'm not really "excited" hear that people think I'm ruining anything though. But if trying to help widen the tent of free software results in that I guess that's what happens then.

The first time I heard the term I learned that it was mostly said with a sneer by people who resent other people being treated justly.  My reaction was, "Fuck them."

@cwebber@identi.ca I think you seem like a very nice person and wish more people were like you. I also wish so many usually white, men didn't need to to step on others to feel like they have value.
