I finally caught this on Netflix and this was surprisingly good!

The world and character development was well-done but maybe I'm a sucker for movies where the characters go on a journey to truly discover themselves. It helps that this visually looked really good!

The ending was depressing though not because of what happened in the story but upon reflection, the cynic in me saw how unrealistic it would be for a society to repent so quickly and accept the truth when it is laid out in front of them.

0 Mai Tais for the movie but maybe a Mai Tai for after as you reflect on the bleakness of humanity...
