This AI is "just" a neural network. Not to say that this isn't impressive, but the system is essentially a black box. You can't have conversation with this AI to find out *why* it does the things it does. This is why folks like Marvin Minsky and Gerald Sussman expressed disinterest in neural networks.

@davexunit@identi.ca True, but very often you can't have a conversation with a human to find out why it does the thing it does. That often gets explained away as "instinct" or "intuition" or "innate reaction".
