I heard from a developer the other day on our chosen video player not working in the iOS browser: "Yeah, Apple want to protect the user from someone playing video on page load."

Wow! That's not really fair/just in their end. Keeping people under their unjust/unfair power... I would really ask these project owners/directors to start learning everything again, and also would ask then to redo the philosophy and ethics class that they probably dismissed during college days. Otherwise, why do they have this class if they don't give it the proper importance?
I do recognize that not everyone has to know everything, and that humans make mistakes. But there's a difference between someone who makes mistakes and, upon finding these mistakes, work to correct them; and some other people that also make mistake but don't give it the proper treatment.
