@keverets@identi.ca Not a GPL guru.. But think GPL only applies to source code and making source available. Ubuntu is saying something akin to "hands off our binaries without proper bowing and scraping. Don't want to be beholden to us.. Fine you MUST compile from source". So they make all the source available and do not violate sharing/reusing of the source. Just of their pre compiled binaries. Serious dick move IMHO, especially considering they basically are taking Debian's binaries. Or at least used to.
