It's an incredibly poor choice of words (using the "Occupy" prefix) to associate with something other than government or corporate corruption. It dilutes the meaning of the "Occupy" movement and risks making it meaningless.
Comparing the GPL to something like the kind of political corruption Lessig is trying to fix is much worse than a non sequitur. My guess is it's probably corporate-sponsored. Interesting because http requests to the domain occupygpl.org now redirect visitors to http://choosealicense.com/ which is a very different message from the cached version of occupygpl.org.
