I just updated the pumplive.com server to share stats on the rate of activities coming through the firehose.

It counts activities as they come in using PubSubHubbub, and keeps a running count by hour. It then averages over the previous 24 hours (not counting the current hour, which isn't done yet), which gives a rough idea of the rate of activity, smoothed out over the day-night cycle.

It just started counting, so its rate is pretty low for now; it should normalize by this time tomorrow.

I added a second queue server, so we have some failover if the first won't accept connections. Should help timeouts when posting.

@evan I think if perhaps the BLOCKED box were very colorful, the risk of accidental clicks could be reduced, and 1-click might work well.
