I haven't seen a recent movie until my flights during the holiday season so to conclude my 2022 movie rankings, here is a quick rundown of what I saw on flights:

• Bullet Train (1 Mai Tai): You need to get past the nonsensical story with a sip throughout to at least enjoy the visuals.
• Top Gun: Maverick (0 Mai Tais): Honestly wasn't expecting much so this was surprisingly good and wished I had seen it on a larger screen and sound system.
• Jurassic World Dominion (4 Mai Tais): Needlessly long and in fact, I split this one between two flights. I honestly can't remember this movie other than older cast returning and some Easter eggs! Maybe I really did have too much to drink on the flight...
• Beast (1 Mai Tai): The fluid camera work is notable and draws you in. However, you may need to sip throughout to get past the nonsensical circumstances.
• Barbarian (0 Mai Tais): This one was surprisingly engaging! "Boop!"
• Emily the Criminal (0 Mai Tais): Easily the best of them all. Wonderfully written and engaging throughout.
