a sad day

Left the Debian project. It's hard to say if Debian or I have changed more in 18 years, but it no longer feels like a good fit.

Hope you find enjoyment in other challenging endeavors.
Today, for me, is one of those days with dark thoughts (for orther reasons mainly, but some of them related).
Even when I am like that, I try to believe in some goodness that arises when sharing the pain. The same as when somebody posts in pump.io about migraine, and others answer “same here”. It does not make the migraine go, but it heals a bit somehow.
So let me share the sadness with you, as a Debian contributor that applied to be a non-uploading DD one month ago (and is kind-of-scared since she subscribed to -project and began to have a look at -devel from time to time, although she saw messages that touched her heart, too).
I'll let some time pass, and then, think again, or maybe just take my list of pending translations and go on without thinking too much. Or maybe nothing. I suppose you've done this many times (let some days pass, and then rethink). I would like to ask you to do it once more… after having a look to contributors.debian.org and what it represents, and consider that project can evolve when we consider this wide active community, now that becoming DD for those people is possible and beginning to take momentum.
I hope that if you finally leave, you keep an eye in Debian somehow. We can be better than today, and I'm sure we'll be. I hope I survive my doubts and help that happen. Then you and many others rejoin, and many others discover us.
Thank you for the time, work and love you put in Debian, anyway.
