Wish http://identi.ca/url/70009636 was in better shape. Any good web sources on early programmer culture?

Pondering redoing them in http://imakewebthings.com/deck.js/ but that may require more coffee, or booze, or both.

After 9 (10?) years my beloved @timbuk2 bag has finally broken. Culprit: 800-1000 pages of documents.

Wondering if the abominably bad font kerning on this printout is the fault of the font, the printer, or OpenOffice.
-
@mairin awesomesauce (even if it does use flash.)

What's the best (a?) Linux tool for remotely presenting a slide deck + video/voice, ideally with two-way comms with the audience?
-
They do contemplate unspecified version #, but IMHO that is bad practice. Should specify version + or later.

(also, don't you now need a scanner *and* a printer? isn't that more space than just the MX860?)
-
@mairin how is the picture scanning? I've found the MX860's color scans to be very poor.
-
Gave up on the MX860? (I note that it also Just Works in F16, once firewall ports are opened.)

After all this time, I have finally been asked to do a formal review in Bugzilla. I'm thrilled. Now to see if I can figure out the UI...

Not that I don't love my clients, but a meeting scheduled for one hour that ends in twenty minutes is one of the best kinds of meetings.

6.75 miles in 60 minutes this morning. Still not quite the pace I want but getting there. #winning

An unanticipated benefit of my recent running training: I can now sprint to catch a train I'm late for much faster than I ever could before.

It takes an impressive level of spite to hand-edit your blog's HTML to add "rel=nofollow" to all positive links about something you dislike.
