I recall other AndStatus users having this issue, but I don't know if they fixed it by reinstalling the app or what.

We'll be attempting some live coverage of the Debian jessie release this weekend. The party happens on pump.io https://identi.ca/debian #releasingjessie

Since I read that clients for the pump.io social network are more fully-featured than the web interface, I have installed Dianara on my laptop running Debian unstable to give it a try.
The appearance isn't that great since I am running GNOME

“@sazius You'll be in for a surprise when you get an upgrade. And IIRC, GNOME 3.12 will be in Ubuntu GNOME 14.10.”
Not without upower 0.99.1 it won't. That particular transition was blocked because it was going to land way too late in the cycle for adequate testing as it had non-GNOME impacts too. The odds are pretty good that the updated upower will land early in Victorious Velociraptor which would then allow 3.12 or later to land.

“it is too bad the only distro around to keep up with gnome releases is arch.”
For the record, Mageia Cauldron (development branch of Mageia, so what will become Mageia 5) has Gnome 3.14 already.

@gdk@identi.ca As of this morning I just got word in LP Bug 1330037 that GNOME 3.12 in whole will land some time after today's Beta 2 drop but before final release with virtually no Ubuntu-side testing and without upower 0.99.1. Good luck.
