Deferred maintenance. I have a good deal of it. There's some things that I need to fix with my house, but also things that I need to take care of with my health. I haven't been taking great care of myself.
Part of it is that I have issues with my knees that prevent me from running, and even prevent me from swimming. I can do yoga, but I even need to be careful with that.
I went to my doctor this past week, and she has written a prescription for me to go to physical therapy, but I won't go before she gets a look at an xray of my knee.
I hope I can make some positive changes that will last in my life. I know that if I tell friends and family about it, that they will support me, so that is good.Christopher Allan Webber, lnxwalt@microca.st, Greg Grossmeier likes this.
I can completely sympathize with you, Jim. I luckily don't have the need for x-rays of my knee and the associated limiting of mobility. I'm so sorry you do. Sadly I also know there's nothing friends from afar can do, really (as long as you're financially sound), but know we care.
