Happy #DayAgainstDRM everybody! Defective By Design just published this new article I wrote about DRM in music streaming services like Pandor and Spotify: defectivebydesign.org/drm-streaming
TL;DR: DRM may be making a comeback but it hasn't got any better.sazius, Evan Prodromou likes this.

Speaking of DRM and crappy things, here's that link in non-t.co-spy version:
http://defectivebydesign.org/drm-streaming
Copy-pasting from Twitter has that effect, fake links that go to their t.co even if they look like they don't.
Cheers! o/

"Getting rid of the CapsLock is wonderful! " -- sadface. I like Caps Lock: I trained to use it automatically when learning to touch type and I use without even thinking when typing, say, NULL or anything else that's at least three captials in a row. I'd miss it if it were gone.
Then again, nothing I hear about post-X230 Thinkpads makes me want to get one.
Nice machine! Been waiting for the X1 Carbon to get a super-high resolution screen for a long while…2014-05-19T02:23:39Z via Identi.ca Web To: CC: Followers, Public
