Hi there, pumpers! o/
It's time for a new version of Dianara, my desktop client for this nice network of ours, Pump.io!
The most notable changes since v1.3.2 are:
- When trying to follow a contact, the user ID is verified. If the server is down, not a Pump-compatible server, or the username is wrong, you’ll get a warning, and will be allowed to cancel the process.
- The image viewer gained basic zoom capabilities.
- Only thumbnails of embedded images (which load fast) will be loaded in the timelines, and the full size versions will be loaded if you click to see them in the viewer.
- When pasting text in a post or comment, proper links will be made from URLs, even when the pasted text is rich format. Whatever you paste, from whatever source, should get clickable URLs for texts that look like links.

I built it on my ubuntu 12.04 box. It is work fine.
I like the changes especially of thumbnails of embedded images.

John Oliver in yesterday's Last Week Tonight, speaks about televangelists.
Amazing that these things still exist in 2015. Amazing that people still actually believe in them. Amazing that they give money they don't have to help those scammers get private jets!

Testing Dianara v1.3.1 RC
I just tagged Dianara v1.3.1 RC, hoping to release the final version by the end of the week. Having some extra testing hands would be great ;)
Main highlights of 1.3.1:
- Option to browse the posts of a user.
- Setting or changing e-mail address for the account.
- Privacy category in the settings.
- Nick autocompleter shows user ID.
- Pasting plaintext with links will create proper links anywhere.

EDIT: I've pushed a few small fixes to master, so you should pull again ;)
Translations
By the way, translators for Italian and German can't update their translations at the moment, so if anyone feels like updating them, or providing translations to any other language, just let me know =)
It'd be great to have Dianara in more languages, even if only partially translated.

Testing out Guix on Debian

I'm running Guix on top of Debian now. Maybe I'll report some progress to this thread as I go.
Per @David Thompson's suggestions, rather than doing a "make install" I'm running from git using "./pre-install-env guix" and etc.

Oh yeah! Massive performance increase. Aside from syncing contacts/calendar with my android devices, I generally access my files with a file manager (Dolphin usually). The directories and files load damn near instantly now.

Nice.. Hope it handles lighttpd + postfix + prosody + notbit + ssh (i do a clean sheet in a dog for a country to leave my laptop out of the high end even if i had a dream of mary judging my buns.
