Oh, sweet: the Automotive Grade Linux project is leaning toward Firefox as its browser engine, not Chromium/Blink....Iñaki Arenaza likes this.
due to issues with how hard Chromium is to run on embedded / EGL boards, where each configuration seems to require a lot of low-level hacking ... with every release.
Admittedly, it'd be more interesting to see them use Servo, but that's probably long term. Then again, AGL itself is a slow-moving project in its own right.
In any case, it's nice to hear that there's a use case out there for embeddable Firefox.

Until today, the version of Dianara in the Debian Stable repositories was very old, but no more.
Now, Jessie users can get the current version from the jessie-backports repo, thanks to @Mònica =)

libgcrypt 1.7.0 release

It comes with the implementation of X25519 function on Curve25519. Together with libgcrypt 1.7.0, we can use public key encryption of ECDH with the Curve25519.
Good thing is : The key size is 32-byte.

It's time for a new version of Dianara, my desktop client for this nice network of ours, Pump.io!
The most notable changes since v1.3.2 are:
- When trying to follow a contact, the user ID is verified. If the server is down, not a Pump-compatible server, or the username is wrong, you’ll get a warning, and will be allowed to cancel the process.
- The image viewer gained basic zoom capabilities.
- Only thumbnails of embedded images (which load fast) will be loaded in the timelines, and the full size versions will be loaded if you click to see them in the viewer.
- When pasting text in a post or comment, proper links will be made from URLs, even when the pasted text is rich format. Whatever you paste, from whatever source, should get clickable URLs for texts that look like links.

I built it on my ubuntu 12.04 box. It is work fine.
I like the changes especially of thumbnails of embedded images.

No me gustan las métricas basadas en la "cantidad" (a ver que distro tiene más paquetes, a ver que wikipedia tiene más artículos) porque es muy fácil desvirtuar la realidad con ellas. Son como el P.I.B. respecto a la salud de una economía: un valor aparentemente objetivo pero debajo del cual se puede esconder (y se esconde) una verdad muy diferente.

Cualquier cosa susceptible de ser medida tiene un móduloBueno sí, eso es axiomático Jose Luis, pero lo que yo quiero decir es que, dentro de todas las métricas posibles, escoger una muy simple y "cruda" no suele ser una buena aproximación para cuantificar una realidad compleja.
O dicho de otro modo, no se puede valorar correctamente la salud de una distribución Linux simplemente por el número de paquetes que incluye (equiparando "más" a "mejor") lo mismo que no se puede valorar la salud de una persona simplemente por el número de kilos que pesa (equiparando "más" a "mejor"), o la salud de la economía de un país por el número de dólares o euros que se gastan en total durante un año (equiparando "más" a "mejor").
